About the Role
As the Senior Pattern Maker, you would be responsible for assisting in the development of block library, driving consistency across garment fit and patterns for seasonal collections manually transitioning to system patternmaking across a wide range of systems.
In this role you will:
Making patterns for seasonal collections in StyleCAD or Clo systems via product sketch, sample or from existing library of blocks and or patterns.
Assist in the development of block library, driving consistency across garment fit.
Develop style that are considerate of yield and price point whilst not compromising on design.
Log an accurate history of all garment alterations and comments within associated tech packs.
Perform pattern alterations where necessary during all stages of development and production where necessary.
Finalise all patterns in line with Design and development critical path timelines.
Create costing markers and record accurate yields as required.
Participation in fittings and maintaining notes on all alterations with support from the Design/Development team.
Work with external sample machinists to achieve best quality make and most cost-effective method of garment construction when required.
QC samples first for all sampling stages ensuring vendors have followed pattern and make guidelines.
You’re a fit if you…
Bring 10+ years of experience in pattern making, preferably in contemporary women's fashion
Are a StyleCAD or Clo3D Patternmaker
Have a strong understanding of garment construction and design
Have excellent technical skills in pattern making and grading
Have a proven capability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Have impeccable communication and team collaboration skills
