About the Role

As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in shaping our product strategy and ensuring the successful execution of merchandising plans. Ensuring ranges are aligned with brand vision, customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the GM, develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with the brand vision and business goals.

• In collaboration with the GM, plan and manage product ranges to ensure a balanced and appealing assortment that meets customer needs and business objectives.

• Oversee the critical path for the Design team, ensuring timelines are met and potential delays are mitigated.

• Manage the buying process for the e-commerce platform, ensuring the online product assortment is aligned with customer demand and business goals.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure optimal inventory levels.

• Generate and analyse reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to inform decision-making and optimise merchandising strategies.

• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences, using this data to inform product selection and merchandising strategies.

• Conduct competitive shopping analysis to stay informed about market trends and competitor strategies.

• Work closely with the design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product launches and promotions.

You’re a fit if you…

  • 4+ years experience as a Merchandiser, Buyer or similar

  • Have a Tertiary education in Merchandising, Fashion, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.

  • Proficiency in merchandising software and tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for excellence in merchandising.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
