About the Role

This permanent part time financial controller role will see you sit alongside the brands business owners and together monitor and analyse all business costs and forecasting at an ecommerce, wholesale and retail capacity.

In this role you will:

  • Review/prepare the monthly financial results and reporting requirements

  • Prepare analysis of variances and related activity; with an emphasis on timeliness, accuracy and high professional standards

  • Preparation of Annual Budgets and Forecast

  • Review actuals vs budget monthly and prepare monthly rolling forecast

  • Review profit centre P&Ls with department heads

  • Payment approvals, ensuring within the budget

  • Review aged stock analysis

  • Freight and warehouse costs analysis

  • Collaborate with Sales team in terms of customer margin analysis and sales forecast

  • Regular reporting and interaction with Business Department heads ensuring fiscal ownership of financial performance across the business

  • Staff Allowance monitoring and approval

  • Management of external accounts team

You’re a fit if you…

  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent

  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and general ledger maintenance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently when required

  • Excellent problem-solving skills & time management skills with the ability to effectively manage deadlines and conflicting priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Fashion Industry background and experience using Apparel 21 system

  • International business experience is desirable
