About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager & CFO, this role will oversee the company's day to day financial operations. The role is a general finance role, encompassing all financial aspects to support the business as they enter their next phase of growth. The role would suit a finance professional that can manage the day-to-day responsibilities whilst supporting with analysis, reporting and compliance with relevant tax laws.
In this role you will:
Oversee the AP function, including reviewing and authorising supplier payments in accordance with company policies.
Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, compliance with relevant employment laws, and accurate reporting of payroll-related expenses.
Manage the EOM close process, ensuring that all financial information is accurately compiled.
Manage and maintain the integrity of the General Ledger, in line with the budget and commercial knowledge of the business.
Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, providing analysis to the GM and CFO to support business strategy and performance tracking.
Review monthly accounts and support the CFO in providing variance analysis to support in decision-making and identifying areas for improvement.
Assist the CFO in maintaining tax compliance for the business.
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency across the finance function.
You’re a fit if you…
Are a qualified Accountant (CA or CPA)
Can demonstrate commercial business acumen and experience within product business preferably fashion retail/ecommerce.
Strong payroll experience
Strong technical accounting skills & experience
Understanding of global business finance requirements
Have strong communication & reporting skills.
