About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager & CFO, this role will oversee the company's day to day financial operations. The role is a general finance role, encompassing all financial aspects to support the business as they enter their next phase of growth. The role would suit a finance professional that can manage the day-to-day responsibilities whilst supporting with analysis, reporting and compliance with relevant tax laws.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee the AP function, including reviewing and authorising supplier payments in accordance with company policies.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, compliance with relevant employment laws, and accurate reporting of payroll-related expenses.

  • Manage the EOM close process, ensuring that all financial information is accurately compiled.

  • Manage and maintain the integrity of the General Ledger, in line with the budget and commercial knowledge of the business.

  • Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, providing analysis to the GM and CFO to support business strategy and performance tracking.

  • Review monthly accounts and support the CFO in providing variance analysis to support in decision-making and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Assist the CFO in maintaining tax compliance for the business.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency across the finance function.

You’re a fit if you…

  • Are a qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) 

  • Can demonstrate commercial business acumen and experience within product business preferably fashion retail/ecommerce. 

  • Strong payroll experience 

  • Strong technical accounting skills & experience  

  • Understanding of global business finance requirements  

  • Have strong communication & reporting skills.
